Our hotel is located in one of the most privileged part of the Chania Old Town. Few steps from old Venetian harbour and part of Kasteli district makes our hotel strategic point to visit all important city sights and monuments. Kanevaro street which was, in fact, Venetian Corso begins from our doors. Except the Greek-Swedish excavation which brought to the light an entire floor plan of the Minoan house, you can visit the ruins of Monastery of Virgin Mary de Miracolo in Agiou Markou Street, ruins of Turkish bath Hammam in street Katre or remains of the Rector’s mansion in street Lithinon. Leading east from our hotel you can discover famous Splantzia Square with a unique orthodox church dedicated to St. Nicolaos with its Christian Bell tower on one side and Ottoman Minaret on the other. Sadly neglected church of St. Rocco and lost hidden small churches of St. Catherine & John Hermit or St. Anargiri behind the square are looking forward to your discovery.
In Archoleon and Daskalogiannis street which is the main vein to the old harbour you will find many practical stores as a supermarket, bakery, barber shop, hairdresser, daily spa, bookshop, gallery etc; you can find also fish tavern, Greek cuisine, Italian food, fast food, frozen yogurt and wine boutique.
